These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Scryb's website and AI bookkeeping platform (the "Service"), operated by Scryb ("Scryb", "we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Use of the Service

Scryb provides AI-powered document digitization that extracts data from invoices, receipts, and bank statements and prepares it for accounting systems such as Xero and QuickBooks. You may use the Service only in compliance with these Terms and all applicable laws.

2. Accounts

To use most features of the Service you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Customer Data

You retain all rights to the documents and data you upload to Scryb ("Customer Data"). You grant Scryb a limited license to process Customer Data solely to provide and improve the Service. We do not sell Customer Data to third parties.

4. Subscriptions and Free Trials

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis as described at checkout. Free trials, where offered, automatically convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial period ends.

5. Acceptable Use

• You will not upload unlawful, fraudulent, or infringing content.
• You will not attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the Service.
• You will not use the Service to process data you are not authorized to process.

6. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is." While Scryb aims for high extraction accuracy, you are responsible for reviewing and verifying outputs before relying on them for accounting or tax purposes. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Scryb is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service.

7. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for violation of these Terms or non-payment.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date above.
